This is a small Glog I made showing some of the audience feedback I got for my music video, and I comment vaguely on some of the things I learned from them. Although there is very little criticism, I still feel like there are areas of our music video which could've been improved very much, for example the clarity between who the main artist is. Some of the audience didn't know that the producer was in fact the artist which caused a little bit of problems such as in Farheens feedback she mentioned the blue lipstick but not the scarf or hair.
From the Ancillary work feedback I learnt that most of the colours and fonts worked really well and that the image chosen to show the artist still worked really well at trying to give him an 'Identity' and that theme of a mysterious/underground electronic genre was well portrayed. In addition, based on the lack of comments on the scarf through both the video and the Ancillary work, I have come to the conclusion that either the scarf was overlooked because of the hair and lipstick, or that it wasn't highlighted enough. e.g. The scarf isn't used as a background on the advert like it is on the digipak, and during the video, there are some shots where you can barely see the scarf.
So after all of this I have learnt effect of highlighting small specific features like the artists lips or hair and the strength of the reaction it can create with the audience. From all of this I figured that if i were to do this again, I would pay much more attention on the little details that seem like they were accidents but were in fact used deliberately to create a brand image.
