Planning - mise en scene (extra)

Today, my sister went shopping in Westfield and brought numerous clothes for herself but I have noticed that some of them were relevant to the genre of my chosen music video. The colour scheme seems to fit the idea of a "hipster" look which is related to the personality of the artist (Ruth). The colour black suits the dark side personality of the artist as she smokes in the music video. It would be irrelevant if our artist wore colourful bright clothing as this would fit the genre of pop and not electronic. For our genre, we need to use suitable clothing such as leather jackets, casual jeans and boots. Using make up is also a factor that is important as the audience should know from the very beginning of the video what type of person our artist is through appearance, so we plan to use blue lipstick to show that the artist is beyond normal as to see somebody wearing blue lipstick in a public place is very rare.
