Planning For Music Video - Costume

Before we decided what Costume to use, we looked into the 'Future Garage' genre and looked at how they appeal to their target audience and what they wear in order to make a statement.

Looking at at the initial artist 'Sbtrkt' - producer and 'Jessie Ware' - feature, websites we gained a rough idea of what colours tend to be used. Colours such as black and white, and ordinary clothes are very popular in costume among this genre, as the use of abstract lighting and neon colours in the set contradict, and can bring the video to life.

These website use colours black and white with a touch of colour, after looking at this we were inspired to achieve this sort of look 

However for our amplification video we have decided to  portray an individuals journey in society. How she starts of different, wearing all black and gradually dressing more more stereotypical and basic blending in with society. 

However although the following three cosmetics will be used in the video, but either the dark makeup  blue lipstick or nails will be used throughout so that the audience can indentify the artist's image.

As for the producer who will be in the video,  in order to recognise and create an artist image that the audience will be able to recognise, we have decided to use the following throughout.
