We decided to go with this song because from the first listen we had plenty of ideas towards how to approach making the video. We all just felt a huge positivity about the song.
There are a lot of interesting parts in the instrumentation that we felt like, "Hey, let's cut to the snare drum" or, "The camera could bounce to the bass line". Furthermore, the meaning of the song (doing the right thing and being original) is inspiring to those facing hard times ... however, we did want to cause a stir by having the video end with our protagonist giving into temptation.
