One of the songs in our short list, that we wish to use for the music video project, belongs to the electronic, dubstep genre, therefore i have conducted research on an artist in the genre of our choice.
Disclosure - Settle
In the music Video the same features are used;
the use of colour such as orange,reds, and white on a dark background relate to the colour scheme on the album cover. Also the negative effect used on all 3 products allows the audience to instantly make a connection.
The genre of music is evidential, as the style of editing and cuts used, creates an electronic feel that resembles the electronic,house genre. Also the long two shot used allows the audience to see a connection as the two used on the advert for the video,the two shot used on the album cover, now again used in the video, the viewing audience will begin to familiarise and identify the artist.
