Planning - shortlist

Above is a shortlist of fonts conducted through Microsoft word. I have gone through many fonts in which I need to find two fonts which match the electronic theme of my artist to go with the digipak and advertisement. I needed to choose a font which will go with the main title of the artist, the album name and the track list/small copyright text. After doing all the research on other digipaks relating to my genre, its clear that the main artist name must be written in a mysterious manner, so that it stands out from the rest of the other fonts. The font that I have chose for the main artist name is "Matisse ITC" which is highlighted in blue above. This is because it looks hypnotic and looks eye catching. The font I have chosen for the track list is "Consolas" which is highlighted in blue. I thought that this would be ideal because it looks simple and nothing over the top, the audience could easily read it.
