Digipak Mock Up

The Digipak
The Digipak uses a very simple layout. Four panels. You may not be able to read it because my camera was out of focus and my handwriting is appalling, but the cutout picture of Erik is where the CD will go. The picture was not big enough for the entire page and I couldnt draw on top of the material.

The random straight lines are supposed to be blue lights ... no coloring pencils in this house. The background itself is black. The artist name and album title will be in their own text box and the font will be in blocks.

The third panel (inside) will feature a laptop or perhaps just a laptop screen which will try to insinuate the blue light's origin. The laptop will act as a third synergy product as a Macbook was featured in the music video. Furthermore, technology implies the electronic genre.

The tracklisting is the same as SBTRKT's self-titled album's and XL Recordings information was copied off the back of Adele's '21' album.

The advertisement will have a different image to the ones featured in the digipak. This image will be placed on the left half of the page. The digipak will be displayed on the right and will overlap the image.

I'm still considering the reviews being at the top - or even having them at all. It looks out of place.

HOTEL OCTOBER in its own box right below the two images - the same font and everything from the album cover. Simple writing about the bottom, social networks, HMV ... all that jazz.
