Research - Review of favourite previous student music video

This music video remake I believe is very good in terms of editing and camerawork. It looks simple and every shot links to the genre of the song.

There are various types of camera shots which each one has an effect e.g. a close up to show expression on individual or an establishing shot to empathise on the location. The camera work is also brilliant as it is constantly moving and is not static, it moves in time with the song.

The use of locations is brilliant as there are a variety of them. Also there are locations in which are both at night time and with daylight and also indoors.

There are special effects used in the video such as fade in fade out in which it a scene cuts to another scene smoothly and it blends in with the song. It is a slow paced song in which there are shots where there are long in duration but this is normal in a song that is very slow in tempo.
