Reflecting back on the AS year.

Technical skills that I have developed during the course of the AS year include:

Various types of camera shots (Two shot, Over the shoulder, Close ups, Long shot, and others) and how it links to the scene, e.g. High/Low angle shot would make a character look powerful/vulnerable. 

   Also the use of Final Cut Pro/Soundtrack Pro, in which I have discovered many new things that have contributed to my editing skills such as adding titles, sound, using the timeline and using effect on a video (e.g. Slow motion effect, Black and white effect)

Use of different ICT and level of detail in my blogging was one of the skills that I have developed most, such as being creative and including variety of technology in my blog. Some include Embedded videos, Prezi for presentations, Vlogs, Wordle and Gifs.

Film making, in which I studied the elements of title sequences (e.g. Types such as narrative, discrete) involved in a Thriller opening. I believe this will contribute to my portfolio in A2 (music video) because in AS, it is a lot about building skills around using filming equipment safely and editing using the Apple Macs.
